Viewpoint is built for enterprise scale. Most mid-market GCs don't need that rollout.
Trimble Viewpoint Vista (and the lighter Spectrum SKU) is the enterprise option — broad, configurable, and capable. It's also a multi-year rollout that typically requires implementation consultants and meaningful change management. For many mid-market GCs the math doesn't work; for the largest GCs it might be the right fit.
Viewpoint Vista typically lands at GCs $200M+ in revenue who have an internal IT team and budget for an implementation partner. Spectrum is the lighter cloud SKU aimed at smaller firms but still requires meaningful setup.

- Regular product updates shipped continuously. Viewpoint upgrade cycles are slower, with version lag a common complaint.
- Owners, subcontractors, architects, and residential builders can join on the same platform when you are ready. Viewpoint is GC-focused out of the box.
